Nanotech Poland 2026 & 9th NIBS
Date: June 8–11, 2026
Location: Morasko Campus – Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań, Poland
We are pleased to announce that the upcoming edition of Nanotech Poland will take place in Poznań from June 8–11, 2026. This year, the event will host the 9th NIBS Conference (Nanotechnology and Innovation in the Baltic Sea Region), creating a unified platform for nanoscience, advanced materials, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
In addition to the leading conference, the event will serve as the venue for the kick-off meetings of the NCBR EIG CONCERT-JAPAN/9/91/PETITE/2023 – “Phonon engineering in novel and functional materials (PETITE)”, NeuroCardioChip (ERA4Health) and NCN OPUS UMO-2023/51/B/ST3/01995 “Engineering of polymer nanomaterials and assemblies”, projects. Providing an exciting opportunity for further networking and cooperation.
Conference Scope
Nanotech Poland is an established international forum dedicated to nanotechnology, biomaterials and advanced materials applications. Following the success of the previous joint edition in 2019, NIBS Conference series and Nanotech "Poland" come together again in the 2026 edition, aiming to strengthen regional cooperation within the Baltic Sea Region (BSR). The conference aims to connect researchers, industry partners, social media communicators, and public stakeholders to discuss developments across sectors such as health, energy, manufacturing, sensors, and environmental technologies. The program is designed to facilitate and promote the translation of scientific findings into practical industrial and societal solutions, and to provide a venue for researchers across sectors and career stages.
The agenda covers four days of lectures, scientific sessions, and networking, structured to combine the Nanotech Poland (Advanced Materials and Nanobiomedicine) with the NIBS format, which consists of three topical days—Motivation, Innovation, and Young Researchers—all of which focus on applied nanotechnology and feature contributions from academia, industry, and early-career researchers.
